The Karnataka government is intending to adopt resolutions against NEET, One Nation One Election and Delimitation. The government has decided to do so late on Monday, sources revealed.
The Cabinet meeting under leadership of CM Siddaramaiah has approved the passing of three resolution including one of Delimitation of Assembly and Lok Sabha seat that are under consideration by central government.
With these resolutions, state government is determined to introduce the Greater Bengaluru Governance Bill, 2024. The bill intends to decentralize power at various levels under the Greater Bengaluru Authority including city corporation. CM will preside the Greater Bengaluru Authority.

The three resolutions will be tabled on Tuesday in State Legislature. Experts anticipate resolutions against NEET, One Nation One Election and Delimitation is poised to ignite political slugfest.
The controversial private sector quota for Kannadigas under the proposed Karnataka State Employment of Local Candidates in the Industries, Factories and Other Establishments Bill, 2024, was reportedly extensively deliberated by the Cabinet, according to sources. The bill has been shelved due to opposition.
Santosh Lad, the state minister of labor outlined why the law must be followed in this case.
Sources claim that M.B. Patil and Priyank Kharge were against it. They are state minister of large and medium industries and the state minister of biotechnology and information technology respectively.
The Cabinet also resolved to involve IT and ITES companies in the matter after discussing a 14-hour workday for software workers.
