Indian Cricket Team Met PM
The Indian cricket team led by Rohit Sharma met PM at his residence over breakfast on Thursday to celebrate T20 Triumph. In an hour long meeting, PM congratulated victorious men in blue.
In a video shared by official X handle of BJP, victorious men can been seen sharing laugh with the Prime Minister of India, while PM seemed to be enjoying the conversation. It appeared that PM Modi enjoyed the anecdotes from Barbados as he is seen smiling all through the video.

Head coach Rahul Dravid was also speaking as the players sat together in a circular seating with the Prime Minister.
Along with the team BCCI secretary Jay Shah and President Roger Benny also attended T20 triumph breakfast at PM residence.
Expressing his joy over meeting with team India, PM said that he had a ‘memorable conversation’ with champions. He also said that it was “excellent meeting”.

The team clicked a perfect picture with leader of the nation as PM posed with T20 trophy in hand. Team Captain Rohit Sharma handed the cup to PM and entire team posed for photo.
The team will head to the airport to reach Mumbai for further celebration. BCCI has organized one meter long victory parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede for fans to get glimpse of their stars with the World Cup trophy.
A small celebration to felicitate the team will also take place at Wankhede stadium.
Notably, the Indian cricketers were stuck on the island for three days due to Hurricane Beryl. The cricketers were only able to fly out of Barbados in the early hours of Wednesday via special charter flight . The flight was named AIC24WC — Air India Champions 24 World Cup.
