‘ZimBabar’ Pakistan captain Babar Azam Is regarded by many former cricketers and experts as one of the best batters in modern cricket. In an unusual turn of events, Babar was booed by Pakistani fans at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

The incident occurred in the 19th over of Pakistan’s second innings after English pacer Ollie Robinson bowled Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed out for the second time in the second Test. After facing 10 balls in the second innings, Babar could only manage one run. Fans in Pakistan were understandably disappointed by Babar’s dismissal.

While Babar was returning to the dressing room in the second innings, some Pakistan supporters began chanting “Zim-Babar.”

After wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan left early in the second innings, Babar came down to bat. Pakistan, with a target of 355 to chase, needed a strong start and would have preferred to end Day 3 on a high note. However, Babar’s quick dismissal gave England a fantastic opportunity to win. On the third day of the second Test, Imam-ul-Haq hit a brilliant 60-ball knock to help the hosts reach 191. Pakistan had finished the day with a score of 193/4.

Previously, Babar displayed his batting prowess in the first innings, helping Pakistan reach 202. Babar formed a crucial 91-run partnership with Saud Shakeel to help his team to a respectable total.

In contrast, England’s Harry Brook scored his second Test century in the second innings as the visitors scored 275. After taking seven wickets in the first innings, debutant Abrar Ahmed continued his outstanding bowling in the second. In the second innings, the 24-year-old leg-spinner took four wickets.
