Nandita Das Zwigato Starring Kapil Sharma
Nandita Das: Comedian Kapil Sharma is his new outing as the lead actor in the Nandita Das directorial ‘Zwigato’. We have been snacking on the laughter that Sharma has been serving successfully on television. In ‘Zwigato’, Kapil’s character will be seen dealing with the world of digital ratings and incentives as a food delivery partner.
Zwigato tours Film Festival Circuit
The famous 27th International Film Festival of Kerala will host the Indian premiere of the Nandita Das-directed movie. On December 10th, it will be shown at the Kaleidoscope’s opening, and on December 13th, 2022, it will be shown once more.
Both the Busan International Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival have already screened “Zwigato.”
‘Zwigato’, a bitter-sweet slice-of-life film
The film set in Odisha is a bittersweet tale of invisible ‘ordinary’ people.
Kapil is the lead in the film who plays an ex-floor manager in a factory. He loses his job like others during the pandemic. He then finally takes up a job as a food delivery partner.

Zwigato is a joint production by Sameer Nair’s Applause Entertainment and Director Nandita Das’s Nandita Das Initiatives.
Nandita the film’s director said in an earlier post that “Zwigato is finally ready!”

The film will see Shahana Goswami of ‘Rock On’ fame as Kapil Sharma’s. Playing a simple housewife her character too tries to find ways to support the household. This also brings a new feeling about independence.
