Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday addressed a public rally in Siddipet, Telangana.
Addressing a public rally, Amit Shah asserted that the BJP has announced its intention to commemorate 17 September as Hyderabad Liberation Day annually.
Additionally, if elected, the party plans to abolish Muslim reservations instituted by Congress and TRS, redirecting the focus towards providing reservation benefits to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
The BJP has decided to celebrate September 17 as the Hyderabad Liberation Day every year.
Once voted to power, we will do away with Muslim reservation granted by Congress and TRS, and will instead provide the same to SCs, STs and OBCs.

Shah stated that the Congress has transformed Telangana into its financial resource, treating it as its personal ATM. The cozy relationship between Congress and TRS indicates a shared objective of exploiting Telangana for personal gain.
Reinstating Prime Minister Modi’s leadership is crucial. It is the key to breaking free from the clutches of corruption orchestrated by these parties.
Congress has made Telangana its ‘ATM’.
Congress and TRS share a great bond, and looting Telangana is their common goal.
Make Modi Ji the Prime Minister again, and he will save you from the corrupt clutches of these parties.

Shah stated that in Telangana, the goal is to secure 12 seats for the BJP. The goal is to support PM Narendra Modi to achieve ‘400 Paar’ to make him PM for the third time.
Each vote that the BJP candidates receives, will contribute to PM Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, Polling for 17 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana will take place on May 13.
