2 inmates were killed, and 2 others injured in a clash that broke out among the prisoners. The incident occurred late on Friday night in Punjab’s Sangrur jail.
As per reports, the police are investigating the incident and the reason behind the prison fight is being ascertained.

Officials have stated that the 2 inmates injured in the altercation are reportedly in critical condition. They have been referred to Patiala for further medical treatment.
Dr Karandeep Kahel said, “A total of 4 patients were brought to this hospital from jail. 2 of them were brought dead, while 2 others are in serious condition. They were referred to Patiala for further treatment.”
