This latest incident comes on the heels of another assault just a week prior when terrorists targeted a resident of Dehradun in south Kashmir’s Herpora. Fortunately, Dilranjeet Singh, the victim of the earlier attack, managed to survive. It’s a stark reminder of the persistent threat posed by terrorism in the region.
Prior to these events, in February, two workers from Punjab were tragically killed in Srinagar. Subsequent investigations revealed a link to Pakistan following the arrest of a terrorist.
The series of attacks underscore the ongoing challenges and dangers faced by civilians and migrant workers in the volatile region, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced security measures and efforts to combat terrorism effectively.
