Rajnath Singh Criticizes Tejashwi Yadav: ‘Eat Fish, Elephant, Horse, Why the Display?’

During the rally, Rajnath Singh lauded the achievements of the Modi government, including the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the construction of the Ram Temple.

In a fiery retort to RJD MP Misha Bharti, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh addressed concerns over recent controversies surrounding Navratri and political rhetoric. Singh, speaking at a gathering in Bihar’s Jamui to support NDA candidate Arun Bharti, criticized the alleged intentions of certain leaders to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Singh’s remarks took aim at Tejashwi Yadav, accusing him of using visuals of non-vegetarian meals during Navratri for political gain. He questioned the need to display such choices and accused leaders of resorting to appeasement politics to sway voters. Singh highlighted a video of Yadav eating fish during Navratri, sparking a heated debate.

Tejashwi Yadav, in response, clarified that the video predated Navratri and accused critics of misunderstanding the context. He further ridiculed BJP and media followers for misinterpreting the timing of the video.

The Defence Minister also addressed statements from Lalu Yadav’s family, alleging plans to jail Prime Minister Modi if they come to power. Singh dismissed these claims as unrealistic, using the Hindi idiom “Na nau man tel hoga na, na radha nachegi” to emphasize their improbability.

Earlier, Misha Bharti had stated that if the INDIA bloc gains power, all BJP leaders, including Modi, would be imprisoned.

During the rally, Rajnath Singh lauded the achievements of the Modi government, including the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and the construction of the Ram Temple. He expressed confidence in Modi’s leadership, citing international invitations for future events and portraying the upcoming elections as a mere formality.
