Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a public rally in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.

PM Modi Slams Opposition’s Dynasty Politics

Addressing a public rally, the Prime Minister lashed out at the opposition parties over dynasty politics.

PM Modi stated, “Congress, National Conference, and PDP want to take Jammu and Kashmir back to those old days. No one has caused as much damage as these family-run parties have. The meaning of these political parties is, of the family, by the family, for the family.”

“I challenge any political party, especially Congress, to get back Article 370. They cannot do it, PM added.

PM Modi asserted, “After several decades, it is the first time that terrorism, bandhs, stone pelting, and border skirmishes are not the issues for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state of J&K.”

“Before 2014 even the Amarnath and Vaishno Devi Yatra was ridden with problems but post-2014, J&K has seen only increasing confidence and development,” PM stated.

The Prime Minister said, “Within just 10 years, Jammu and Kashmir has undergone a complete transformation. Infrastructure such as roads, electricity, water, and transportation, as well as the tourism sector, have all seen significant improvements.”

“The most remarkable change is in the mindset of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They have shifted from despair to hope, with life now filled with renewed confidence and optimism,” PM added.

Lashing out at Congress and INDI alliance, the Prime Minister asserted that the INDI alliance enjoy playing with the emotions of the people.

Taking a dig at the opposition, PM Modi added that Congress claims that Ram Temple is an electoral issue for the BJP.

He further stated that the struggle for Ram Temple is 500 years old, long before elections even existed.

Udhampur will vote in the first phase on 19 April. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP won 3 out of 6 seats in Jammu and Kashmir.
