Om Birla made an appeal to the leaders to cooperate in the efficient operation of the House while presiding over the Business Advisory Committee of the House meeting on Tuesday evening, the day before the Parliament session. The Lok Sabha Speaker received assurances from all the leaders present in the meeting that they would extend their cooperation and support for the smooth operation of the Lok Sabha.
Pralhad Joshi, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Pashupati Kumar Paras, Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Anupriya Patel, and P.P. Chaudhary was among the several ministers and lawmakers present.

In contrast, many other opposition MPs attended this conference, including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary from the Congress, Farooq Abdullah from the National Conference, Sudip Bandyopadhyay from the TMC, Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh from the JDU, and TR Baalu from the DMK.
