Prices of petrol and diesel cut by Rs 2 per litre.
Before the announcement of the Lok Sabha election schedule, the Central government took a significant step by lowering the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 2 per litre.
Speculation had been mounting due to recent reductions in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) prices, hinting at a possible decrease in petrol and diesel prices, especially with the impending Lok Sabha polls.
