Bollywood Must Learn to Respect Wildlife and the Law, from the BlackBuck case to Raveena’s Tiger Viral Video it’s time to act responsibly.

Bollywood Must Learn to Respect Wildlife and the Law, from the BlackBuck case to Raveena’s Tiger Viral Video it’s time to act responsibly.

Bollywood Actor, Raveena Tandon is known also for her love for nature and wildlife. In fact she is an amateur photographer who uploads photographs of the wild and natural scenic beauty quite often on her social media handles.

According to ANI she has invited some trouble recently by posting a video on social media. Raveena was in the Satpura Wildlife Village having a good time in the midst of nature.

In the video that she has posted she is seen almost violating the personal space of a tiger in the Satpura Wildlife Village ,while on safari. The vehicle is shown approaching very close to the tiger and sounds of camera shutters can be heard.

The tiger was heard growling and the forest reserve authorities have  not taken to this very well.A probe has been launched by the Tiger Reserve Management against all stakeholders involved including the driver ,guide and officials on duty during Raveena’s visit will be questioned and served notice.

According to the authorities if the tiger is distracted any untoward incident can take place.

Sandeep Pheloj, Deputy Director of Satpura Tiger Reserve has confirmed to ANI that Raveena was indeed paying a visit to the reserve and the matter will be officially probed.

This is reminiscent of a much more serious case of the poaching of the BlackBuck in 1998 by the cast members of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain. Salman Khan was accused of hunting down two Chinkaras in Bawad, Jodhpur. The others accused were also A-list bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, and Neelam .

That was two decades ago and the case is still stuck in court hearings. Bollywood celebrities and their run-ins with law enforcement is a common thing in tinsel-town.

When the public showers love on a public personality they also have a duty to act responsibly and in favour of the larger good of humanity, all living beings, the planet and the country.

Bollywood must learn and people must learn to worship true real-life heroes.
