Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing Lok Sabha on the Ram Temple resolution, says,
22nd January will be a historic day for the years to come. It was the day that fulfilled the hopes & aspirations of all Ram devotees. 140 crore Indians and followers of Lord Ram are grateful to the House for allowing this discussion. I am not responding to anyone today, I will only talk about how I feel on behalf of the citizens of the country. India’s culture cannot be separated from Ramayana. Those who imagine a country without lord Ram do not know our country well and they represent the days of colonialism.
