Adani Solar is making significant strides in promoting solar energy installations across Uttar Pradesh, leveraging various government schemes such as Rooftop C&I, KUSUM, and the Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana. Collaborating with Chaitanyasri Greentech Pvt. Ltd., Adani Solar is expanding its retail distribution network in the state, extending its reach to over 3 thousand cities in India.
The company’s off-grid panels offer a solution to mitigate power cuts, while on-grid panels aim to reduce electricity costs for consumers. With a target of over one GW in various segments including rooftop, utility-scale, residential, C&I, and solar pump installations, Adani Solar seeks to tap into Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy market effectively.
The showcased Shine Topcon PV module stands out in solar technology, offering high Watt-Peak (WP) alongside transparent efficiency, making it suitable for India’s diverse weather conditions. Topcon cell technology represents the next generation of solar panels, with seamless integration into existing PERC production lines. Despite a slight increase in cost, Topcon cells boast an efficiency of approximately 28%, surpassing PERC cells’ typical efficiency of 22%. Moreover, they demonstrate high efficiency even in low light conditions, ensuring power generation even during limited sunlight.
