Snowfall in North India
The effect of cold wave seems to have reduced in Central-North India but there are parts of North India that received snowfall. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Uttarakhand received heavy snow from the mountains on Sunday. Due to bad weather, flights had to be canceled at some places also, highways were closed at some places. Movement in the high mountain areas was completely disrupted. 7 trains have also been canceled.

News agency ANI has released pictures and videos of snowfall in the northern states. As per the reports, the Srinagar-Jammu highway has been closed due to a landslide in Ramban. Along with this, all flights going from Srinagar have been cancelled along with 7 trains, due to the same reason.
Here in the pictures, one can see snowfall of the North Indian states that has covered the area into a blanket of white. More than 500 roads are closed due to snowfall in Manali, Kinnaur, Dharampur, Kufri, and Keylong of Himachal.
Electricity and water supply have also been affected in many areas. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding snowfall in Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, and Kullu for the next two days.

Rainfall in distinct parts of India
There was heavy rain in Delhi-NCR on Sunday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, apart from the national capital Delhi, there may be rain in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh today and on February 5.
The effect of cold has been seen in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. At the same time, there is an alert of hailstorm in West Bengal and Sikkim on Sunday and Monday.
