On Sunday, Delhi and its adjacent National Capital Region (NCR) experienced light rainfall, with the minimum temperature settling at 10 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a generally cloudy sky and intermittent light rain accompanied by gusty winds throughout the day in the national capital.
The IMD anticipates the maximum temperature in Delhi to reach around 19 degrees Celsius. On the preceding Saturday, a thick layer of fog covered the national capital in the morning, but the weather cleared up and remained sunny throughout the day.

At 8:30 am, visibility at Delhi’s main weather stations, Safdarjung and Palam, was recorded at 1500 meters and 800 meters, respectively. Additionally, 17 trains heading towards Delhi experienced delays due to the foggy conditions.
The IMD’s predictions extend beyond Delhi, with expectations of thunderstorms and lightning in regions including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The bulletin from the IMD mentions, “Thunderstorms/lightning accompanied by gusty wind speed of 30-40 mph over Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh.”
