PM Modi To Go To Veerbhadra Temple, Inaugurate New Campus Of NACIN; Chechout Other Things In His Pipeline Of Kerala-Andhra Visit

PM Modi to visit Kerala and Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi is going to visit the state of Kerala and Andhra Pradesh on 16th and 17th January. He will pray at the Veerbhadra Temple, in Lepakshi and will also hear verses from the Ranganatha Ramayan which is in Telugu. PM Modi is visiting Lepakshi which holds a special place in Ramayana, just 6 days before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the grand Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.

Significance of Veerbhadra Temple

It is said that Lepakshi is the place where Jatayu, after having been grievously wounded by Ravan who was abducting Ma Sita, fell. The dying Jatayu who told Lord Rama that Ma Sita was indeed taken south by Ravan was then granted Moksha by Lord Ram.

The visit to Lepakshi comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Shree Kala Ram Mandir in Nashik. Few days back, PM Modi visited Panchvati, situated on the banks of the Godavari river in Nashik. He offered prayers at the Kala Ram Mandir and heard the verses relating to Ayodhya aagman of Bhagwan Ram from Ramayan in Marathi

PM Modi’s Kerala and Andhra visit

Prime Minister will reach Palasamudram, Sri Sathya Sai District and inaugurate the new campus of National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN). Prime Minister will also interact with Officer Trainees of 74th and 75th batch of Indian Revenue Service (Custom & Indirect Taxes) as well as officer trainees of Royal Civil Service of Bhutan.

On 17th January, at around 07:30 AM, Prime Minister will perform pooja and darshan at Guruvayur Temple in Kerala. He will also perform pooja and darshan at Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple at around 10:30 AM. After that, at around 1200 Noon, Prime Minister will inaugurate important infrastructure projects related to the ports, shipping, and waterways sector.
