Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make a visit to Palasamudram in Andhra Pradesh’s Sri Satyasai district on Tuesday, where he will inaugurate the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) institute. According to an Andhra Pradesh government press release, Modi is scheduled to arrive in Palasamudram on Tuesday afternoon for the planned events and will return in the evening.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister will tour the NACIN institute, starting with a visit to the first floor to explore the Antiquities Smuggling Centre, Narcotics Study Centre, and Wildlife Crime Detection Centre. The release also stated that Modi will proceed to the ground floor to inspect the X-ray and Baggage Screening Centre. Additionally, he will visit the academic block to plant saplings and engage with construction workers. During his visit, Modi plans to interact with trainee officers and release a book titled ‘Flora of Palasamudram’.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister is expected to present an accreditation certificate to NACIN and deliver an address. Before departing for Delhi, Modi is anticipated to visit the Lepakshi Temple. Chief Secretary K S Jawahar Reddy has overseen the preparations for the PM’s visit, directing officials to ensure its success. Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy are also expected to attend the program.
