During his Nashik trip, the Prime Minister immersed himself in the epic narrative of the Ramayana, particularly the ‘Yudh Kand’ section, narrating Lord Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya. Notably, this rendition was presented in Marathi, while PM Modi listened to the Hindi version through Artificial Intelligence (AI) translation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also engaged in worship at the Shri Kalaram Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra. Offering prayers at the revered Ramkund on the banks of the Godavari River, PM Modi also showcased his musical talents by playing instruments at the Kalaram temple, displaying a deep devotion to Lord Shri Ram.

This unique confluence of tradition and technology continued as PM Modi participated in the puja program and listened to the recitation of the Ramayana’s ‘Yudh Kand’ section at the temple institute. The recitation, delivered in Marathi, was seamlessly translated into Hindi for the Prime Minister through AI technology, highlighting the harmonious integration of ancient tales with modern advancements.
Floral tribute
Additionally, Prime Minister Modi paid floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary during the Nashik visit. Situated on the banks of the Godavari in the Panchavati area, Shri Kalaram Temple holds special significance as many pivotal events from the Ramayana unfolded in this region. The Dandakaranya forest, where Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lakshmana spent crucial years, is also located in the Panchavati region.
PM Modi’s visit to Shri Kalaram Temple comes just before the grand ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lala in Ayodhya on January 22, marking a significant step towards the consecration program scheduled for the Ram temple.
