In Ayodhya on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a break from his hectic agenda to visit and have tea with a woman who is the 10th crore (billionth) beneficiary of the Center’s popular Ujjwala Yojana.

During tea, PM Modi was seen introducing himself to the recipients and asking how they were doing. PM Modi was met by a sizable audience as he made his way through the temple town’s winding pathways.

In Ayodhya, he also met two kids and obliged their requests for autographs while taking photographs with them. A boy showed the prime minister a painting, which he signed as well.

“God came to my house”

After the Prime Minister made an unexpected visit to her modest home, Meera Majhi, the billionth Ujjwala beneficiary, struggled to express her happiness. “I never imagined that God would visit my home,” she said.

“I was ecstatic since I never thought ‘God’ would make such a special visit to my house. My joy was uncontrollable,” Meera remarked.

In an effort to supply impoverished households all around the nation with clean cooking fuel, the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) was launched in May 2016. A deposit-free LPG connection is given to adult women from low-income households under PMUY. The flagship scheme’s billionth recipient is an Ayodhya resident named Meera.

PM Modi arrives visits shrine town Ayodhya for a day in advance of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’s grand opening on January 22. The Prime Minister dedicated, launched, and laid the cornerstone for several development projects totaling over Rs 15,700 crore during his visit.

These include projects valued at approximately Rs 11,100 crore for the city’s development and its environs, as well as projects valued at approximately Rs 4,600 crore for various other Uttar Pradesh-related projects.

Hundreds of people lined the streets to welcome Modi during his roadshow from the airport to the railway station after his arrival in Ayodhya.

At one point, Modi waved back at the individuals he was greeting from his car and even opened the door. In celebration of him, people shouted praises, waved BJP flags, and showered him with flowers.

Along the way, the prime minister attended performances by cultural groups. On Friday, the office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that over 1,400 artists would showcase traditional art and cultural events on 40 platforms along route from the airport to the train station.

Prior to the official opening of the magnificent Ram Mandir on January 22, Prime Minister Modi dedicated the recently constructed airport and the renovated railway station in Ayodhya.

Following the roadshow, the airport and train station were officially opened.

After the inauguration, Modi addressed a public gathering and said that while everyone is anticipating the historic consecration of the Ram temple, he pleaded with people not to travel to the city for the occasion.

He suggested that a few people should visit the temple town to observe this momentous day since they have been invited.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the nation will advance due to the strength of “Vikas” (development) and “virasat” (legacy), and he urged every citizen to light diyas in their homes on January 22 so that the entire nation can celebrate in splendor.

First commercial aircraft to arrive at the recently constructed Ayodhya airport

Amidst loud cries of “Jai Shri Ram,” the pilot of the first commercial flight to Ramnagari Ayodhya welcomed passengers aboard as the aircraft took off from the Delhi Airport on Saturday. At 2:30 PM, the IndiGo aircraft took off from Delhi and arrived at the recently opened Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya at 4:00 PM.

As the passengers boarded, they chanted “Jai Shri Ram” and were greeted by Captain Ashutosh Shekhar and his crew.
