12% of MPs stand suspended (Lok Sabha + Rajya Sabha strength) in the ongoing winter session of Parliament

About half of INDIA bloc’s Rajya Sabha MPs and around one-third of Lok Sabha MPs are suspended, significantly reducing their representation in both houses. This includes members from Congress, TMC, DMK, JDU, with leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi stepping up to lead their parliamentary efforts accordingly.
