Distinguished Figures from Diverse Backgrounds to Attend Ayodhya Event

Seven thousand people, three thousand of whom are VVIPs, would receive invitations from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to the Ram Mandir opening event.

Ayodhya’s grand Ram Temple will be consecrated on January 22, 2022, and the guest list is expected to include notable figures from politics, business, sports, media, and the entertainment industry as well as well-known seers from throughout the nation, according to people with knowledge of the situation on Wednesday.

Ayodhya’s big temple, Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, is being built by a trust, and for its opening ceremony, 7,000 people—3,000 of them are VVIPs—will be invited.

An individual with knowledge of the plans requested anonymity. “The guest list is likely to include cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, ace batsman Virat Kohli, actor Amitabh Bachchan, industrialists Ratan Tata (chairman of Tata Group), Mukesh Ambani (chairman of Reliance Group), and Gautam Adani (chairperson of Adani Group).”

Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia Topiwala, who portrayed Ram and Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s 1987 television series Ramayan, are also probably going to be invited by the Trust. Ramdev, a yoga instructor, will also be invited, the source stated.

“Senior journalists and owners of major media outlets are probably going to be invited as well,” the source continued.

The main guest of the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will carry out the ceremonies at the Ram Temple’s sanctum sanctorum at approximately 12:15 p.m. as part of the pran pratishtha (consecration) ceremony. Mohan Baghwat, the leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is probably going to join Modi on stage.

The general secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, informed reporters that “the Trust is also trying to invite one representative each from 50 foreign countries.” “Families of kar sevaks who lost their lives in the Ram Mandir movement will also be invited by the Trust. Additionally, judges, writers, poets, and scientists are receiving invitations.

The temple trust said in a statement that all four Shankaracharyas, or the leaders of the four major Hindu monasteries, are probably going to be special guests at the function. It said, “Invitations are also being sent to other saints, religious leaders, former government employees, former military officers, attorneys, and musicians.”

A trust member stated that prior to the ceremony, the invitees will receive a link. A bar code will be produced after they register through the provided URL. Anil Mishra, a member of the Trust, stated that this bar code will serve as the access pass.

On — Paush Shukla Dwadashi — Vikram Samvat 2080, Monday, 22 January 2024, the inauguration of the new idol of Ram Lalla will take place in the innermost sanctuary. We earnestly wish for your presence in Ayodhya on this momentous day to witness this consecration and contribute to the grandeur of this historic event.”
