Bulldozers during the final day of the campaign at the Yogi Aditya Nath Roadshow in Rajasthan

On the final day of campaigning for the Rajasthan Assembly elections on November 25, Union Home Minister Amit Shah organized a roadshow to assist the BJP candidates in the districts of Nimbahera in the Chittorgarh region and Nathdwara in the Rajsamand district.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, both conducted roadshows in favor of the BJP candidates in many Jaipur Assembly seats.

Mr. Shah supported BJP candidate Srichand Kriplani by traveling four km to Nimbahera from Jaipur. Alongside Mr. Shah and Mr. Kriplani in an open car or a decorated “rath” (chariot) was Rajasthan BJP president CP Joshi.

The roadshow went via the bus stop, Chandan Chowk, Nehru Park, Mal Godam Road, and Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Circle before coming to an end.

Mr. Shah held a roadshow in Nathdwara to promote Vishhvaraj Singh Mewar, the BJP candidate. Mewar is a descendant of Maharana Pratap and a member of the former Mewar royal dynasty.

While Mr. Shinde was in the Hawa Mahal constituency, Mr. Adityanath held a roadshow in the Jhotwara Assembly segment of Jaipur. Images showed supporters riding on top of bulldozers and sprinkling petals on Mr. Adityanath’s motorcade.
