Vaibhav Gehlot to appear before ED today, Was Interrogated For 7 hours last month

ED has summoned Vaibhav Gehlot, son of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, on November 16, due to which he will appear before the ED within some time. It has been learned from ED sources that Vaibhav Gehlot has been summoned for questioning in a case related to FEMA i.e. Foreign Exchange Management Act and has been called to the ED headquarters in Delhi for questioning.

Vaibhav Gehlot’s lawyer had demanded to shift the interrogation’s date from 16th to 25th November, though it was rejected by ED. In such a situation, today he has to appear at the ED headquarters in Delhi. The special thing is that notice was sent to him twice in this case, but Vaibhav Gehlot did not appear before ED.

It is noteworthy that on October 30, ED had interrogated Vaibhav Gehlot for nearly 7 hours. The date for questioning was again given on 16th November, therefore he will be appearing before ED today. After interrogation, Vaibhav Gehlot had told that he was summoned under FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act), but he has nothing to do with it. He said that he had nothing to do with this transaction.

Not only Vaibhav Gehlot but ED had also raided the houses of State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra and Congress leader Om Prakash Hoodla. Since he is the son of the Chief Minister, there is a lot of discussion about his name. Let us tell you that Ashok Gehlot has contested the Lok Sabha elections against Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. Vaibhav is also the president of Rajasthan Cricket Association.
