Chhattisgarh Election: “Public trusts BJP’s good governance not fake promises of Congress,” says PM Modi

The noise of campaigning for the second phase of voting in 70 assembly constituencies under Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections-2023 will stop at 5 pm today. Campaigning on public platforms will be prohibited 48 hours before the end of voting, but during this time candidates can go door to door and converse with public. Before voting in Chhattisgarh, PM Modi has appealed to the voters by posting on social media platform X and said that only BJP can free Chhattisgarh from the clutches of misgovernance and corruption.

PM Modi said, “During election campaign in Chhattisgarh, my experiences were very amazing and unprecedented. It is said – Chhattisgarhia…the best. I felt its echo all around. The hardworking people of Chhattisgarh are full of new hopes and new energy to make their state better and the best. They know that if anyone can free Chhattisgarh from the clutches of misgovernance and corruption, it is only BJP. BJP has built it, only BJP will maintain it.”

He continued, “Chhattisgarh is completing its 25 years in the next few years. Today, the youth in the state, who are going to vote for the first time, are moving forward with the dreams of a prosperous Chhattisgarh. Along with the pledge to develop India in the next 25 years, he has also taken the pledge to develop Chhattisgarh.”

“The way the youth of SC, ST and OBC categories of the state are connecting with our development model is very encouraging. This power of the youth of Chhattisgarh is going to write a new chapter of change,” he added.

He further said, “Mothers of Chhattisgarh, our sisters and daughters have also raised the flag of development of the state themselves. Today, the way India progressing in women empowerment, we can see its impact could be seen in Chhattisgarh as well.”

He said that Congress’s crushing defeat in this election is certain. The public trusts the good governance of BJP, not the fake promises of Congress. BJP is determined and committed to fulfil its every resolution. PM Modi told the people of Chhattisgarh, “I assure the people of Chhattisgarh that the BJP government coming to the state will be the government of your aspirations and the prosperity of the state.”
