US Leaders, Business Icons Hail PM Modi’s Historic Premiership Milestone

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s achievement of becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister has received widespread recognition from American lawmakers, business leaders and prominent members of the Indian diaspora, who credited his leadership with transforming India’s global standing and deepening strategic ties with the United States.

US Senator John Cornyn led the tributes, congratulating PM Modi on completing 4,399 days in office. He described the achievement as a reflection of the trust placed in the Prime Minister by 1.4 billion people through three democratic mandates.

Cornyn praised PM Modi’s leadership, highlighting India’s rapid economic growth and efforts to improve the lives of millions. He also noted that bilateral relations between India and the United States have reached unprecedented levels during PM Modi’s tenure.

Arun Agarwal, Co-founder of the Indian American CEO Council and Chair of the Texas Economic Development Corporation, said the milestone provided an opportunity to reflect on India’s transformation over the past twelve years.

According to Agarwal, India today commands greater influence on the global stage and has evolved from being viewed as a nation of potential to one increasingly recognised for delivering tangible results. He described the period as a defining chapter in India’s rise and a time that significantly altered global perceptions of the country’s capabilities.

Nikesh Arora, Chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks, congratulated PM Modi on the milestone, praising India’s economic progress and the strengthening India-US partnership.

American singer Mary Millben called the achievement a historic democratic milestone and lauded PM Modi’s role in driving India’s transformation and strengthening bilateral ties with the United States. She said his leadership continues to inspire future generations to contribute to the nation’s development.
