UAE’s Foreign Minister Calls His Iran Counterpart To Discuss Middle East Tensions

UAE’s Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, spoke by phone with Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, to discuss the latest, dangerous developments in the region and their implication for regional and international peace and security.

During the call, HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasised the importance of exercising extreme self-restraint and working to prevent the expansion of the circle of tension in the Middle East, pointing out that diplomacy and dialogue are the only way to resolve differences and ensure the security of the region and the safety of its citizens.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed also emphasized the importance of peace, prosperity and growth for the region’s countries.

Furthermore, the top diplomats addressed how to strengthen bilateral relations in a way that benefits both countries and the region.
