Why Does The Present Feel Familiar?
Local officials stated that Russian missile strikes on a postal facility in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region killed at least six persons and injured 14 others on Saturday.
On social media, President Volodymyr Zelensky posted a video showing what looked to be a seriously damaged warehouse surrounded by rubble and a container with the logo of Ukrainian postal operator Nova Poshta.
Oleg Sinegubov, Kharkiv region governor, stated, “All six dead and 14 injured as a result of the occupiers’ attack were employees of the company who were inside the Nova Poshta terminal”.
“The victims, aged between 19 and 42, received shrapnel wounds and blast injuries”, Sinegubov continued.
Seven of the 14 people being treated at the hospital were in a serious condition. “Doctors are fighting for their lives”, Sinegubov added.
Russian military in the Belgorod region north of Kharkiv fired S-300 missiles, two of which hit the warehouse, according to the regional prosecutor’s office.
“Debris analysis continues at the site in order to establish the exact number of injured and dead”, said Dmytro Chubenko, office spokesman.
