PM Modi To Visit Mauritius As Chief Guest On 57th Independence Day: PM Ramgoolam

Mauritius Prime Minister Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam made a significant announcement in Parliament, revealing that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the island nation as the chief guest for Mauritius’ 57th Independence Day celebrations.

Expressing his happiness, Dr. Ramgoolam confirmed that PM Modi had accepted the invitation to attend the national event.

In his address, Dr. Ramgoolam emphasized the importance of PM Modi’s visit, particularly noting his busy international schedule, which includes visits to France and the United States. “It is a great honor for us that such a distinguished and respected leader, Narendra Modi, has taken time out of his hectic travel schedule to participate in our National Day celebrations,” he said.

Dr. Ramgoolam underscored that PM Modi’s visit is a testament to the strong and deep-rooted relationship between Mauritius and India.
