‘Operation Sindoor’: World Leaders React To Indian Retaliatory Strikes

The Indian Army attacked the nine locations deep inside Pakistan in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack on Wednesday.

Taking to social media, the Indian Army posted, “Justice is served. Jai Hind.” The Indian Army also names this airstrike ‘Operation Sindoor’.

Following this ‘Operation Sindoor’, the global leaders came up with their reactions.

Hope It Ends Quickly: US President Trump On Indian Strike

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday said the Indian strikes on Pakistan were expected and that it’s his “hope it ends very quickly.”

Moreover, “It’s a shame,” President Trump said at an unrelated White House interaction with news reporters. “We just heard about it as we walked through the doors of the Oval … They’ve been fighting for a long time. … I just hope it ends very quickly.”

Meanwhile, US President Trump’s remarks were the first by an American official after the strikes. Earlier, Tammy Bruce, the state department spokesperson, told reporters that the situation between India and Pakistan was ‘a dynamic, serious issue’.

Secretary-General Antonio Guterres Remains ‘Very Concerned’

Secretary-General Guterres remains ‘very concerned’ about India’s military operation against Pakistan, saying “the world cannot afford a confrontation between the two countries”, according to his Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric.

Further, “He calls for maximum military restraint from both countries”, Dujarric said shortly after India announced missile strikes into Pakistan and territory it occupies in Kashmir.

“The Secretary-General is very concerned about the Indian military operations across the Line of Control and international border”, he said.

US Monitoring Situation Closely: US Secretary Marco Rubio On Indian Strike

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated he is monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan ‘closely’.

Taking to social media, Rubio wrote, “I am monitoring the situation between India and Pakistan closely. I echo @POTUS’s comments earlier today that this hopefully ends quickly and will continue to engage both Indian and Pakistani leadership towards a peaceful resolution.”

Supports India’s Right For Self-Defence: Israel Backs India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’

Israel has extended its support to India’s right to defend itself from terrorism as Indian armed forces carried out ‘Operation Sindoor’ against nine high-value terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

“Israel supports India’s right for self-defence. Terrorists should know there’s no place to hide from their heinous crimes against the innocent,” Reuven Azar, Ambassador of Israel to India, posted on X.
