Israel Claims To Have Launched Strikes Against Hezbollah Terrorists In Lebanon

The Israeli army stated early Tuesday that it launched strikes overnight on Hezbollah terrorist sites in Lebanon.

In a statement, the army said, “The Israeli army is striking military targets of the terrorist organization Hezbollah on Lebanese territory”.

Since the commencement of the war, which was provoked by Hamas’ unprecedented strike on Israel on October 7, 2023, battles on the Israel-Lebanon border have killed roughly 10 persons predominantly fighters.

At least two people have been killed on the Israeli side.

The world community is concerned that the battle between the pro-Iran Lebanese Hezbollah, an ally of Hamas, and the Israeli army may escalate.

Following the border hostilities Israel began evacuating thousands of civilians in 28 areas in the country’s north.
