France Beefs Up Border Security In Aftermath Of Gunman Killing Two Swedes In Brussels

France is beefing up border security with the Belgium border, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on Tuesday, following the assassination of individuals in Brussels the night before.

“We don’t have information according to which he (the attacker) could be heading to France”, Darmanin said, adding France will double the number of security agents at the border as a precaution.

Belgium was looking for a gunman who killed two Swedish people and injured a third person on Monday in what the Belgian prime minister described as a brutal terrorist attack that elevated the terror threat level in Brussels to the highest level.
