Acharya Lokesh’s ‘We Support Peace’ Campaign Gains Bipartisan Backing In US

Indian spiritual leader Acharya Lokesh’s ‘We Support Peace’ campaign has gained significant momentum in the United States.

Leaders from different political ideologies and party lines have extended their support to the peace initiative.

Several regions across the world continue to face conflict and instability.

In response, the campaign has emerged as a strong call for peace, dialogue and global harmony.

Republican, Democratic and Conservative Party leaders extended their support to the initiative, highlighting the universal importance of peace and coexistence.

Democratic Congresswoman Laura Gillen, Republican Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Conservative Party Chairman Gerard Kassar and New York Assembly Minority Leader Ed Ra endorsed the campaign.

Assemblymen Paul Bologna, Michael Tannousis, Alec Brook-Krasny and Matt Slater also backed the initiative. They stated that war never serves the interests of humanity and only deepens suffering and division.

Acharya Lokesh, founder of the ‘We Support Peace’ movement, reiterated that war leads only to destruction and remains a curse for humanity. He stressed that peace forms the foundation of development and prosperity. He further stated that meaningful dialogue, rather than conflict, offers the most effective path to resolving challenges.

Prominent Indian community leaders Karamjit Singh Dhaliwal and Anil Monga praised the growing international recognition of the campaign. They said the initiative reflects the enduring strength of India’s spiritual values centred on compassion, peace and mutual respect.

Nitin Vyas and Ashok Bhatt are coordinating an upcoming programme organised by the Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti Foundation. They announced that Acharya Lokesh will launch the ‘War Free World’ call from the Capitol Building in Washington DC on July 1. They described his continued efforts for peace, ethical values, environmental protection and human unity as a source of inspiration for people worldwide.
