The game, known for its amusing sequence of phrases and actions, involves participants saying phrases like “Ek machhli” (one fish) and “Paani mein gayi” (went into the water) while adding to a fish count.

On Friday, Zomato shared a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing the interaction with a customer named Ritika, who had ordered a single fish fry. Zomato’s social media team, renowned for their witty online presence, couldn’t resist joining the fun with a cheeky “Paani mein gayi.” In keeping with the viral game’s spirit, Ritika promptly replied with “Chappak.”

The playful exchange quickly gained traction, amassing over 3 lakh views on X. Internet users were impressed by Zomato’s sense of humor and eagerly shared their thoughts in the comments section of the viral post.

One user posted on X, “Since it was a prepaid order – Money, went into the water ‘Chapak, chapak.'” Another expressed, “You guys are simply fantastic. Happy to be your shareholder.”

Declaring Zomato the winner of the trend, a third user proclaimed on X, “And the winner of the trend is @zomato.” Another user appreciated the banter, commenting, “A great dialogue between customer & customer care.”
