Wow Moment During T20 Match In Australia: Indian Fan Proposes His Girlfriend On Camera

During a Big Bash League (BBL) T20 match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, an Indian fan proposed to his girlfriend, surprising and delighting her.

The idea came up during a mid-match interview with supporters as the interviewer was moving through the stands. He passed by a young couple wearing opposing team shirts. The man was asked by the interviewer if there was any conflict in his relationship as a result of his support of rival teams. The man replied, “Yeah, I am a big Stars fan and she is a Renegades fan. But she loves (Glenn) Maxwell too and I am a Maxwell fan, so I just brought her here”.

The man then turned to his girlfriend while she was watching in disbelief, got down on one knee, and said, “It’s a big occasion so I just want to put a ring on her.” The interviewer joined in on the huge cheer that came from the audience. With a bewildered expression, the young lady replied, “Yes,” and he placed the ring on her finger. The audience gave the pair tremendous applause. The interviewer said, “Wow!”
