McDonald's
The internet has been captivated by an old man’s intriguing and humorous tale of a grueling drive-through encounter with customer at McDonald’s. The man in the widely shared video describes how a young woman driver behind him got irate and started honking and swearing.
The man chose to be kind instead of getting aggressive. He surprised her by covering both his and the rude driver’s tab. The young woman first thanked him for the unexpected gift. But the man had something unexpected in store. After he completed both orders, he drove off, sending the irate driver back to the back of the line.
The man makes an intriguing statement at the end of the video, “Don’t blow your horn at old people; we’ve been around for a long time,” which caused the audience to erupt in cheers. The man himself can be seen joyfully thumping the dais, obviously taking pleasure in the lesson he taught.
The video was shared on X, which was formerly known as Twitter, by Tara Deshpande, a former actress in Hindi films. The caption read, “Some wisdom for all of us.” Numerous people have liked and reshared the video on social media.
Online viewers have found resonance in this story, which has sparked conversations about tolerance and deference to senior citizens.
“Need that humour early in the day; thanks for sharing, Tara,” commented a user on the video.
In the comment section, another user left another story giving a glimpse of the wisdom of wise elderly people: “An old Indian lady who visited her son in the US… He was sharing the apartment with a girl and swore to his mom that they had a very platonic relationship. Mom placed the key below his pillow in his room and returned to India. He did not get it for a month.”
