Renowned solo climber Alain Robert recently stunned social media with a daring video showcasing his barefoot ascent up a mountain, devoid of any safety equipment. Posting the remarkable footage on Instagram, Robert revealed that he had resumed his passion for climbing after a hiatus of 22 years.

“Climbing free solo and barefoot in Verdon at 60 years old. My comeback on rocks after a 22 years absence on the natural landscape,” wrote Robert alongside the video.

Since its upload just days ago, the video has garnered over 6.7 million views and continues to attract attention. Social media users have shared a variety of reactions to Robert’s fearless feat.
