Reckless Stunt Sparks Outrage: Man Drives Car With Doors Open on Manali-Atal Tunnel Road, Angers Internet

The festive spirit has led to a surge in holidaymakers hitting the roads to celebrate Christmas and New Year in popular tourist destinations, resulting in significant traffic congestion. Social media has been flooded with videos depicting long queues of vehicles along the Manali to Atal Tunnel route. Amidst the traffic chaos, some individuals have been spotted engaging in perilous car stunts, drawing ire from fellow tourists and online users.

One video captures a man driving with his car doors wide open, with another person hanging precariously from the opposite door. Fortunately, no collisions occurred during this risky maneuver. However, such stunts pose serious dangers, including the risk of the car becoming unbalanced, shaking at high speeds, or even causing the door to be ripped off. This reckless behaviour not only endangers the lives of those involved but also poses a threat to other commuters on the road.

A video shared by Weatherman Shubham with the caption, ”Kindly don’t create menace. Manali – Solang – Atal Tunnel,” has garnered numerous comments condemning the driver for jeopardizing lives. Several individuals have taken note of the vehicle’s plate number and urged authorities to take strict action. Calls for cancelling the driver’s license, reporting the incident to the Regional Transport Office (RTO), and even imprisonment have flooded the comments section.

Calls for legal consequences and banning such vehicles in areas where they create a nuisance have resonated, with some expressing dismay at the lack of discipline among certain travelers. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for responsible behavior, especially during peak travel times, to ensure the safety of all road users.
