UP Couple displaying affection in public
Both drivers and the general public are at risk when stunts are performed on public roadways. Young couples making Public Displays of Affection (PDAs) while riding fast bikes have become more prevalent recently. A couple was spotted making out on a bike in one such incident, which was reported from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Social media is rife with criticism of the video.
In a viral video of the incident, the woman is seen facing her partner while seated in front and giving her partner a bear hug. The couple violated standards for driving safety since they were not seen using helmets. Many users reported the video and urged the traffic police to act harshly.
On National Highway 9, which is under the jurisdiction of the Simbhaoli police station, the incident took place. The pair received harsh criticism from several people for their careless and offensive behavior.
In response to the footage, Hapur police issued the couple a sizable fine. The Motor Vehicles Act resulted in the biker being fined 8,000 yen and legal action being taken.

”Photos of a couple doing stunts on a bike on the National Highway under the Simbhawali police station area went viral on social media. #Hapurpolice took immediate cognizance and issued a challan of ₹ 8000/- for the said bike under the MV Act and advance legal action is being taken,” Hapur police wrote on X.
A few months ago, a video of a Delhi couple making out on a bike leaked online. The event was reported to the traffic police, who informed them that the perpetrators had been booked under the applicable provisions. The couple was arrested for driving recklessly and without a license and helmet. They were required to pay a total of Rs. 11,000.
