Both drivers and the general public are at risk when stunts are performed on public roadways. Young couples making Public Displays of Affection (PDAs) while riding fast bikes have become more prevalent recently. A couple was spotted making out on a bike in one such incident, which was reported from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh (UP). Social media is rife with criticism of the video.
In a viral video of the incident, the woman is seen facing her partner while seated in front and giving her partner a bear hug. The couple violated standards for driving safety since they were not seen using helmets. Many users reported the video and urged the traffic police to act harshly.
On National Highway 9, which is under the jurisdiction of the Simbhaoli police station, the incident took place. The pair received harsh criticism from several people for their careless and offensive behavior.
In response to the footage, Hapur police issued the couple a sizable fine. The Motor Vehicles Act resulted in the biker being fined 8,000 yen and legal action being taken.
