The best fire range

Additionally, Prabal is the first revolver with a side swing cylinder to be produced in India. According to the manufacturer, the country’s revolvers have the best fire range.

“To insert the cartridges in the earlier models of revolvers, one had to fold the weapon. Additionally, the maximum range of all revolvers on the market is only 20 meters, whereas Prabal’s range is up to 50 meters. It weighs only 700 grams (without cartridges), has a 76 mm barrel, and measures 177.6 mm overall. Pulling the trigger is also pretty simple. This makes it a simple option for ladies, who can use it for safety and take it around effortlessly in their handbags,” he said.

It consists of eight former Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) plants and primarily produces small arms and artillery for the Indian military, other militaries, and domestic civilian use. As a result of the reorganization and corporatization of the OFB into seven separate PSUs, the company was founded in 2021.
This year, the company will produce defense items valued at Rs 6,000 crore. Among them are orders for 450 crore rupees from European nations and 300 ‘Sarang’ cannons from the Indian Army.
