The event happened at a Lok Mela (fair) in Sargodha city, around 200 kilometers from Lahore, that was sponsored by the government’s Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), according to police on Wednesday.

The lion took the man, named as Muhammad Amin, by the arm and began to claw him as he approached the huge cat’s cage. After suffering severe injuries, Mr. Amin was taken to the hospital, where his status is listed as critical.
