Japanese Ambassador Explores Rishikesh, Immerses in Ganges Waters, and Embarks on Yoga Learning Journey

The Japanese ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki, has a passion for discovering our country, its diverse culture, and its delectable food. Mr. Suzuki visited Rishikesh in Uttarakhand and relished the tranquil beauty of the pilgrimage town after savoring street food in Varanasi. The Japanese Ambassador, who uses social media extensively, posted a few updates from his trip on X. In the first image, Mr. Suzuki is seen dipping his feet in the chilly Ganges River while grinning broadly and raising his arms in the air.

”I’m in Rishikesh!” was all he wrote as a caption.

In another video he posted from his trip, he was seen receiving yoga instruction from a teacher. He can be seen warming up, stretching, and doing yoga poses as directed in the video.

He wrote, “I am learning yoga in Rishikesh.”

One user commented, “Your love for Bharat and its culture is amazing,” in response to the positive posts.

“Excellent, Everyone struggles for a few days before our body becomes flexible and then it becomes a breeze,” said another person.

A third remarked, “Hey! Sir, keep up the practice! Yoga is very beneficial to the body and mind.

“Well done, sir, for embracing everything this country has to offer,” a fourth person said.

”One of the most serene and energetic places I have ever been to,” a fifth person said. Amazingly beautiful mountains.

Notably, the envoy’s love of Indian cuisine has made him a social media sensation since his arrival in India in 2022. Videos of the 61-year-old ambassador savoring Indian cuisine have gone viral on several occasions. He discussed North-Eastern cuisine and his experience on X a few days ago.
