A recent viral video has stirred up quite a storm on social media platforms, showcasing just how far people are willing to go for internet trends. In this latest spectacle, a woman took an unconventional route to color her hair, using none other than chocolate ice cream. The video, initially shared by TikTok Cringe Pop on Instagram, quickly caught the attention of netizens, sparking a wide array of reactions.
In the video, the woman excitedly recounts stumbling upon a viral clip of a hairstylist achieving a chocolate brown hair color “using ice creams”. Intrigued by the idea, she decided to give it a shot herself, armed with three chocolate ice cream bars. Demonstrating her technique, she crushes the bars, applies the creamy substance onto her hair, and optimistically awaits the results. However, her enthusiasm soon wanes as she expresses disappointment over the texture of her hair post-application. Undeterred, she insists that for the desired brown hue, the ice cream paste must remain on the hair for a duration of 20 minutes. Additionally, she urges her Instagram followers to share more of such unconventional tricks.
Since its upload on March 11, the video has garnered significant attention, amassing a staggering two lakh views and over four thousand likes. Comments flooded in, reflecting a mix of incredulity, amusement, and skepticism.

Some users expressed outright disbelief, questioning the wisdom of attempting such a bizarre method. Others jokingly referred to the woman as an “Indian myth buster,” while some eagerly awaited the outcome, curious to see if the unconventional hack would indeed work. Criticisms about the current generation’s penchant for outlandish trends were also prevalent among the comments.
Despite the skepticism, there were those who claimed to have tried similar hacks themselves, asserting its efficacy. It seems that amidst the uproar, there remains a segment of individuals willing to test the boundaries of unconventional beauty methods, no matter how peculiar they may seem.
