Employee Caught Watching IPL Match at Stadium While Reporting Family Emergency to Boss

Amidst the fervor of the Indian Premier League (IPL), cricket enthusiasts are engrossed in the matches, either through television screens or live stadium experiences. Recently, an incident emerged where a woman, a devoted fan of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team, attended a match at the stadium, allegedly citing a family emergency to her boss for an early departure from work. However, her boss unexpectedly spotted her on live television during the match.

In an Instagram video, the woman disclosed the amusing encounter with her boss, who recognized her presence in the stadium while watching the live match between RCB and Lucknow Super Giants. The boss, surprised by her fondness for the Bengaluru team, jokingly remarked about her supposed disappointment at the match, noting her worried expression captured on TV. He further teased her about leaving work early, citing her brief appearance on the broadcast.

Sharing the incident on social media, the woman captioned the post with “Moye moye getting real day by day.” The video garnered significant attention, amassing over two lakh views and four thousand likes, with users chiming in with varied reactions.

While some found humor in the situation, appreciating the liberty for employees to enjoy personal moments, others expressed amusement at the woman’s predicament. However, there were contrasting opinions, with a few users suggesting repercussions for misleading the office about a family emergency.

Meanwhile, in the cricket arena, Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their third defeat in IPL 2024, succumbing to Lucknow Super Giants’ dominance. Quinton de Kock’s impressive fifty and Mayank Yadav’s stellar performance contributed to Lucknow Super Giants’ commanding victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the match.
