The CEO of Capital Mind, Deepak Shenoy, criticized the Bengaluru government on X (previously Twitter), claiming that he “somehow made it to the Trevor Noah show” that was canceled owing to technical difficulties.
He declared, “If a crisis is necessary to fix a city, Bengaluru needs a severe recession.”
In response to a commenter who said working from home would be beneficial, Mr. Shenoy continued, “WFH isn’t always practical – companionship, business demands, etc. There are also other issues like working several jobs, fraud, etc. It’s a commercial choice. If a company can actually WFH, it can also relocate to another city or essentially function virtually.
Earlier, Mr. Shenoy tweeted a statement from Trevor Noah’s article on X and concluded, “Well, there’s that. It took place in a warehouse. Although there were no actual acoustics, Trevor could be heard clearly in my area. Some people in the rear couldn’t, though. Additionally, there was a traffic delay on the way out. Overall, Bangalore did occur.
The comedian who won an Emmy had to postpone his performances in Bengaluru “due to technical issues”. Mr. Noah expressed his disappointment, saying, “Dear Bengaluru India, I was really looking forward to performing in your great city but we’ve been forced to cancel both gigs owing to technical concerns. We tried everything, but there is practically no way to put on a show because the audience cannot hear the comedians on stage. We’ll make sure that every ticket holder gets a full refund, and once again, I apologize for the inconvenience and sadness this has caused us. This has never happened before.
