On social media, a picture of a Bengaluru bus driver receiving a challan (fine) for making a wrong turn has gone viral and elicited funny responses from online users.
It all began when the Bengaluru school bus driver made a mistaken U-turn on a crowded street close to the Garudacharpalya metro station. A video of the bus making a wrong turn was published on Twitter by the user “FixBangalorePls.” “@ChrysalisHigh Your school bus is traveling the incorrect way from Brigade Metropolis under Garudacharpalya metro station. The user tweeted, “Bus number KA53AA6189. @blrcitytraffic, please impose a severe fine; being a school bus and endangering the lives of so many children is not done.”

The unexpected turn came at this point when the traffic police posted a picture of an officer awarding the bus driver with a road challan (fine) as an expression of appreciation. “Fine Bus driver,” tweeted Mahadevapura Traffic Department.
Twitter users have responded to this picture of the bus driver carrying the receipt for the fee and the policeman standing next to him with a barrage of humorous comments. A few others even humorously questioned whether the bus driver had received recognition for his actions.
