After running onto the tarmac to prevent a flight from taking off without her, an Australian woman was taken into custody. The event reportedly happened at Canberra Airport. Waving to the captain to allow her to board the QantasLink flight to Adelaide, the woman dashed past airport security, onto the tarmac, and underneath the aircraft. On social media, a video of the woman was also circulated. Since it was posted, a lot of people have been interested in it.
According to a spokesman for the Australian Federal Police, the woman has been denied bail and is scheduled to appear in court on November 3, as the BBC reported.
“On the tarmac, a woman who looked like she missed her flight attempted to make it by chasing the QantasLink Embraer E190AR (VH-XVO) aircraft. On November 1, 2023, at Canberra Airport (CBR), a peculiar incidence was recorded. As they approached, the woman began to wave to the pilot. FL360aero posted on Facebook, “She has been denied bail and is expected to appear in court on Friday.” They released a video of the event as well.

The woman can be seen in the video requesting the pilot to stop the aircraft while she is walking beneath it.
