Apple is one of the most promising mobile companies that literally has a fan base around the globe. This company has the most loyal customers who come back over and over again. Here comes a good news for all those iPhone fans. Apple will be introducing iOS 17 in iPhones this year. However, the upgrades will largely focus on the security of Apple’s built-in Safari, there will be other features as well that will aid the user in keeping its data safe.
Note that the iOS 17 is still in its beta form and is only available to developers. The consumers can expect the update in the later part of the year. One might expect the release around the month of September or October. Following are the 5 features for iPhone users coming up soon.
In order to prevent consumers from getting offensive photographs or videos, Apple is extending the Communication Safety feature to other apps, including AirDrop and iMessage. Underwear or a swimming suit will immediately suppress these obscene contents. In iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma, Communication Safety will be turned on by default. To check its availability, users can go to Settings, –>Screen Time –>Communication Safety.

In order to prevent users from being tracked by URLs, which may reveal their location or device information, iOS 17 offers “advanced tracking” in Safari. To activate this function, users can go to Settings –>Advanced –>Advanced Tracking –>Fingerprinting Protection and choose to apply it to either “private browsing” or “all browsing.”
Additionally, iOS 17 improves privacy by automatically locking private tabs in Safari’s “private” browsing mode to avoid awkward situations while the phone is being used by someone else. Users can unlock private browsing by using fingerprint ID on the keyboard using this functionality, which will also be available on Macs. To facilitate this, users can go to Settings –>Safari –>Enable require Face ID to Unlock Private Browsing.
One-time passwords (OTPs) can now be automatically deleted in iOS 17 for increased security. OTPs are typically hard to misuse, however, it is nevertheless advised to erase them for total security. The capability to automatically wipe up verification codes has been added by Apple. Users can access this by navigating to Settings > Passwords > Password Options –>Clean up automatically.
iPhone users already have the option to give some apps full or limited access to their photographs and videos in terms of app permissions. Users of iOS 17 will occasionally receive alerts to help them remember which apps have full access. Users can share specific photographs with apps using the Embedded photographs picker feature while keeping the rest of their library private. This function is always turned on.
