Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab S11 & S11 Ultra With Laptop-Like Productivity Features

On September 4, Samsung unveiled its latest S series tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, at the Galaxy event.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, Samsung’s largest tablet to date, blurs the lines between a tablet and a laptop when paired with the keyboard case.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra sports a slim 5.1mm body and weighs 692 grams. While its large size may feel slightly unwieldy in-hand, accessories like the keyboard case or book cover provide additional support.

The tablet’s design closely resembles its predecessor, offering a sleek and premium feel.

The tablet features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits peak brightness.

Early impressions reveal a vibrant and smooth display, suitable for binge-watching OTT content, playing graphic-intensive games like Genshin Impact, and enhancing productivity tasks.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 & S11 Ultra: Performance & Battery Life

Samsung powers the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset paired with 12GB of RAM, delivering strong performance for day-to-day use.

However, with a price tag of Rs. 1,10,999, some users may have expected the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

The tablet houses an 11,600mAh battery, slightly larger than its predecessor, promising all-day usage. While the tablet supports 45W wired charging, concerns remain about how quickly it can fully charge such a massive battery.

Samsung equips the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with OneUI 8 based on Android 16, introducing the latest UI and AI-powered productivity tools.

The new Dex mode provides a seamless, laptop-like experience, while dual-screen support allows users to multitask efficiently across two screens.

Other productivity enhancements include Drawing Assist, Writing Assist, Quick Tools, and Gemini Live, designed to simplify workflow and maximise efficiency for creative and professional users alike.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra impresses with its combination of a massive, vibrant display, powerful performance, and productivity-focused features.

With its laptop-like capabilities and sleek design, the tablet positions itself as a strong contender for users seeking both entertainment and professional functionality in a portable device.
