Google has launched its Pixel 11 portfolio in India as the technology giant continues to strengthen its presence in the country and expand local manufacturing.
Google began manufacturing select Pixel smartphone models in India in August 2024 with the Pixel 8 and has since expanded its local production operations.
The company has partnered with suppliers, including Foxconn, to manufacture newer Pixel generations.
The expansion comes as reports suggest Google plans to shift production of Pixel smartphones, smartwatches and wireless earbuds away from China from next year.
Analysts see India as an increasingly important manufacturing destination amid the country’s push to expand local electronics production.
Mitul Shah, Managing Director, Devices and Services, Google India, said the company remained focused on addressing everyday challenges faced by Indian consumers. He said the Pixel 11 portfolio combines purpose-built hardware, Google’s latest AI technology and long-term value, while the company plans to make its devices accessible to more consumers through expanded financing options and a wider service network.
The new Pixel 11 generation features upgraded hardware, improved cameras and more proactive Gemini AI support.
Google has powered the devices with its new Tensor G6 processor.
The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold feature the latest Gemini Nano model.
Google has introduced the Titan M3 security chip, which works with the Tensor G6 processor to strengthen device security.
The Pixel 11 starts at ₹89,999, while the Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold start at ₹1,19,999, ₹1,34,999 and ₹1,86,999. Pixel Watch 5 starts at ₹42,900.
The launch strengthens Google’s India device ecosystem and local manufacturing push.
